Do I need to add a payment method in the app?

Adding a payment method to the app is optional. However, if you using Bento under an Individual + Family Access Plan or to purchase an in-office plan at your dentist’s office, you must enter a payment method to pay for services rendered.

If you are a patient on an employer’s self-funded group plan, you are not required to add a payment method within the Bento app. Should you have any out-of-pocket costs, they may be either paid for using a credit card through the Bento Dental app or collected directly by your provider. Employer group plan payments are processed directly through your employer with Bento.
